Becky Fine-Firesheets’s writing has appeared in The Rumpus, Serving House Journal, and Mutha Magazine, among others. Her short story, The Roof, was nominated for a 2014 Best of the Net Award, and an excerpt from her novel Bone Girl was published in YA anthology What Doesn’t Kill You.
In addition to her writing, Becky is a mama, educator, and activist, and the lead singer/keyboardist in experimental pop-rock duo The Brooklyn Players Reading Society. She loves the beach, books, and food; originally from Kentucky, she’s especially fond of biscuits and gravy.
