Becky Fine-Firesheets’s writing has appeared in Serving House Journal, Mutha Magazine, and Lumen Magazine, among others. Her short story, The Roof, was nominated for a 2014 Best of the Net Award, and an excerpt from her novel Bone Girl was published in YA anthology What Doesn’t Kill You with Indomita Press. Her essay on abortion is forthcoming in The Rumpus.
In addition to her writing, Becky is a mama, educator, activist, and pet rescuer. She moonlights as the lead singer and keyboardist in experimental pop/rock duo The Brooklyn Players Reading Society.
