It is with GREAT excitement that I share with you The Brooklyn Players Reading Society’s first ever recordings, The Little Guy Inside (Demo EP)! This project is completely and proudly DIY – Dave and I wrote, performed, recorded and mixed all of the songs, with the exception of “What Obligation” featuring a poem by the incredibly talented P.K. Harmon. Our Band Camp page also features original artwork by the ingenious Letisia Cruz, and a new logo by graphic-design guru Aviva Buivid.
Some of you may have seen us perform with a full band in the past, but due to our pianist moving out of NYC and conflicting schedules with our other bandmates, Dave and I decided to turn BPRS into a duo. We spent the past year and a half rewriting the songs with him on drums and me on organ and vox, and found that this experience really enabled us to get to the heart of our songs.
